In the trailer, we see a family who moves into a new house which comes with a beautiful backyard pool. But a dark force is waiting for them within the depths of the pool and attacks the daughter.

About the film:

“In the film, Ray Waller, a former major league baseball player forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness, who moves into a new home with his concerned wife Eve, teenage daughter Izzy, and young son Elliot,” reads the synopsis. “Secretly hoping, against the odds, to return to pro ball, Ray persuades Eve that the new home’s shimmering backyard swimming pool will be fun for the kids and provide physical therapy for him. But a dark secret in the home’s past will unleash a malevolent force that will drag the family under, into the depths of inescapable terror.”

Night Swim is written and directed by Bryce McGuire (Baghead), based on his 2014 short film. The film will be led by Oscar nominee Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) as Eve, Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) as Ray Waller, Amélie Hoeferle (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) as Izzy, and Gavin Warren (Fear the Walking Dead) as Elliot.

“Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all,” says the synopsis. “This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.”

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is directed by James Wan from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The sequel features the return of Jason Momoa reprising the leading role of Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Joining him are returning cast members, including Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Amber Heard as Mera, and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

It will also feature the introduction of new cast members, Game of Thrones alum Pilou Asbaek Indya Moore (Pose, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions), Vincent Regan (300, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), and Chinese-Portuguese actress Jani Zhao (Jogo Duplo, The Sugar Captains) in her first major Hollywood film and English-language feature debut.

Wan also teases The Nun 2’s connection to the franchise’s main original Conjuring story, hinting at a full-circle moment that would tie Valak to The Warrens. The featurette also offers new details to the story including the demon nun’s bloody quest to find an ancient relic that would make its more powerful. The church is once again relying on Taissa Farmiga’s Sister Irene to once again stop Valak before it keeps on killing priests and nuns across Europe.

“1956 – France. A priest is murdered,” the synopsis for the film reads. “An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.”

The Nun 2 is directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) from a screenplay written by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg, based on Akela Cooper’s latest draft. Joining Farmiga in the horror sequel are Jonas Bloquet as Frenchie/ Maurice, Bonnie Aarons as Valak, along with franchise newcomers Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Katelyn Rose Downey.
